Before placing an order, please make sure you understand which aspects of the ordering process are your responsibilities as a customer. As an online printer specializing in the gang-run format, there are certain variables that are out of our control and shall be taken into consideration by customers who place an order. If our printing does not meet industry standards due to errors made on our behalf, we will either re-print and re-ship the job at no charge or give a credit for a future order. If YYC PRINTING approved a re-print job due to an error on our behalf, the re-print must be done using the same file(s) from the original order. Please note that due to the nature of our full-color printing (CMYK), we cannot print every color available. We do not color match; however, we offer the print industry’s standard phrase of respectable color and will make every rational effort to print your product as close to the colors you have provided as possible. We are a gang run printer and therefore cannot match colors 100%. Please note we guarantee 80% match to your file. Each time colors could play up to 15-20%.
We will not refund money for any reason once an order is finalized. Orders mistakenly placed for the wrong product, quantity, files, shipping method, or payment method are out of our control; as such, we shall not be held responsible, nor will we be obliged to provide a discount of any sort.
Customer guarantees the legal title of all matter submitted to YYC PRINTING reserves the right to use its sole discretion in refusing to print anything it deems improper or known to be illegal.
YYC PRINTING is not liable for any damages resulting from unwilling violation of copyright laws or illegal use of trade names or slogans.
What is a re-printable item?
Errors during the production process made on our behalf.
What is not a re-printable item?
Grammatical, spelling errors, or omissions made on artwork by our designers or customers when the customer has approved the job to print (i.e. they have approved the artwork as shown in the provided proof),
Jobs that are cut within 1/4th of an inch of the actual product size. Color discrepancies on any gang-run offset item.
Duplicate orders by the customer. Errors in user-selected options such product type, quantity, shape, finish and printing options. Damage to the products arising after delivery to the customer. Incorrect shipping address, undeliverable packages/3rd delivery attempts, or other errors created by the customer.
All orders must be prepaid. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and E-Transfer. If you pay by E-transfer your order will be not process until yyc printing not received the payment any delay to order yyc printing will be not responsible.
Orders cannot be cancelled once the proof is approved by the customer. All cancelled orders are entitled to a refund within 3 business days. 3.9% Cancellation FEE will be charged once you placed a order.
Understanding fees for refunded payments
When you place an order via Stripe Credit Card, Stripe’s fees on the original payment will not be returned in case of a refund. Stripe does not return processing fees when a payment is refunded.
A large portion of the underlying cost of payment processing is driven by fees assessed by banks and payment networks (like Visa and Mastercard). These networks set rules about which fees apply for refunded payments, and in many cases banks and card networks keep the entire upfront cost of a refunded transaction. For some regions and payment types, refunded payments also incur additional fees.

YYC PRINTING liability shall be limited to the stated selling price to the customer of any defective goods, and shall in no event include special, consequential, incidental, indirect or similar damages, including without limitation, lost profits. YYC PRINTING makes no other warranty and no actions or words of YYC PRINTING or its officers, employees or agents shall constitute a warranty.
In the event that a charge, claim or demand, or arbitration, action or proceeding (collectively, a “Claim”) is made or commenced against YYC PRINTING based upon, relating to or arising from the alleged wrongful acts of the customers, or alleging that the printing performed or product produced by YYC PRINTING ordered by the customer:
(a.) infringes any copyright, patent or other proprietary right of any person; or
(b.) contains matter that is libelous, slanderous, defamatory, scandalous or obscene, the customer shall indemnify and hold YYC PRINTING harmless from and against any loss, damages, cost and expense arising from or related to the Claim including without limitation;
(1.) defendingYYC PRINTING against any such Claim
(2.) paying any judgment or award against the customer; and
(3.) reimbursing YYC PRINTING for any legal fees and expenses it reasonably incurs in responding.
YYC PRINTING is not responsible for accidental loss or damage to media and files supplied by the customer or for errors on supplied artwork furnished by the customer. Until YYC PRINTING can evaluate digital input, no liability is assumed for problems that may arise and no claims or promises are made about our ability to work with jobs submitted in digital format. Any additional translating, editing, or programming needed to utilize client-supplied files will be charged at our current rates.
YYC PRINTING does not archive your work for longer than it takes to produce the final product. It is the client’s responsibility to maintain a copy of the original computer files, artwork and transparencies.
Client alterations must include all corrections or changes from the original specifications and must be specified in writing. Such corrections or changes will be charged at our current rates.
Our design proofs are sent via email and must be approved by the customer prior to print. Once the approval is received, the order will be sent to print. YYC PRINTING will work with the customer to get a corrected artwork but will not offer a refund, partial or full for incorrect or missing information on designed artworks that were approved by the customer. YYC PRINTING is not responsible information missed by the customer during the proofing process including but not limited to; typos, missing information, missing dates, missing venues, or any other information the client felt should have been placed on their artwork.
The Guarantee of Color and Exact Color Matching
We do not guarantee an exact color match to the art submitted. If the art is submitted as a any color mode other than the print color mode CMYK we will convert the color mode to CMYK. If there is a color shift we are not responsible for that color shift. Because of differences in equipment, paper, inks, and other conditions between color proofing and production pressroom operations, a “pleasing color” variation between color proofs and the completed job [as determined by generally accepted trade technical methods] is to be expected. When such a variation occurs, it will be considered acceptable performance.
YYC PRINTING will normally deliver the exact quantity of goods ordered and some cases a small additional amount. There is no extra charge for the additional amount. In the event of an underrun, YYC PRINTING may bill for the actual quantity delivered. The accepted trade practice is plus or minus 5%. All packages are weighed before departure and meet our weight specifications for the amount packaged. If you receive a quantity less than 5% of the industry standards for over/underruns then please inspect the box for shipping damage. Shipping damage is generally the culprit for product shortages.
Shipping Changes and Methods
Our shipping methods selected on our online ordering page are final and cannot be changed once the order is submitted. We will not upgrade or change the shipping method that was selected on our online ordering page.
Shipping & Postal Delivery Times
All delivery dates are estimate. YYC PRINTING is not responsible for delays or delivery schedules caused by r UPS and cannot guarantee when mail or shipments deposited with or released to these carriers will be delivered.
YYC PRINTING cannot guarantee a specific shipping or arrival date. Turnaround is an estimate, and is not to be confused with a guarantee. Production business days run Monday – Friday 10am to 5pm excluding major Holidays. Orders placed before 1pm (MST) will be considered ordered that business day. Any order placed after 1pm will be considered ordered on the following business day.
YYC PRINTING is not responsible for delays and/or damage incurred during shipping. We do not ship to P.O. boxes or international destinations. Charges for delivery of materials and supplies from the client or the client’s supplier to YYC PRINTING are not included in quotations unless specified.
Claims and Disputes
Claims for defects, damages, or shortages must be made by the client in writing no later than 7 Days after delivery. If no such claim is made within that period of time, and the customer will understand that the job has been accepted. By accepting the job, the client acknowledges that YYC PRINTING has fully satisfied all terms, conditions and specifications.
Client understands and agrees that if they should attempt to reverse a credit card charge (chargeback) and are unsuccessful (defined as losing the chargeback dispute) that YYC PRINTING shall be entitled to recover costs associated with the chargeback including but not limited to accounting and legal time. Customer expressly authorizes YYC PRINTING to charge their credit card for the appropriate fees upon notification from Visa, Mastercard, American Express that the dispute has been decided in favor of YYC PRINTING and agrees to waive any protest to said charge.
Disputes & Venue
For legal purposes, the venue for any dispute shall be Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Because of the nature of “gang run” style printing yyc printing shall not be held responsible for the following issues which may occur during the production process: variation in color, offset (smudges), cutting variations, marking, picking, cutting issues, size discrepancies (over/under), and etc. Customer acknowledges that they are receiving gang run style printing at a substantial price discount and expedited delivery times and thus said printing will not be held to the same standard as traditional offset lithography nor generally accepted printing standards. While every effort will be made to satisfy our customer’s needs, requests for reprints or credits based on quality issues will not be recognized.
Right to Subcontract
YYC PRINTING shall have the right to assign any portion of the work required to another contractor. Samples
YYC PRINTING has the right to use your product material for samples or advertising purposes.
Your information is only used for contact, billing, and shipping purposes. Any information YYC PRINTING collects from order processing or from any inquiries is not shared with any other company. Your credit card information is never stored by YYC PRINTING until you are not authorized us to save credit card on file. Your credit card bill will read “1362805 Alberta Ltd.
Third Party Billing and Reimbursements
Your card will be billed the exact amount of the purchase. YYC PRINTING will not charge a card for more than the amount and reimburse the difference as a commission. It is up to the customer to work out an agreeable transaction arrangement with his/her client if he/she chooses to resell our products.
All Mailing List(s) is the exclusive property of the customer and shall be used only with customer’s instructions. Customer’s mailing list(s) will not be sold or offered for use to any other party while in the possession of YYC PRIITNG
Errors in Mailing
YYC PRINTING shall be liable only to the extent of remailing a correction or corrected job as soon as possible to rectify the mistake. Damages shall be limited to the value of the work performed. In no case is YYC PRINTING liable for loss of business; incidental or consequential damages; or costs in excess of billing for services related to the specific job. The customer will defend and hold YYC PRINTING harmless in any suit or court action brought against YYC PRINTING by others for alleged damages, costs, expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees), liabilities or losses resulting from circumstances where YYC PRINITNG , acting as the customer’s agent, uses copy, photographs, or illustrations that are believed by others to be degrading, libelous or harmful to their reputations, images, or standing in the community or which in YYC PRINTING sole judgment is an infringement on a trademark, or trade name, or service mark, or copyright belonging to others, or in a suit or court action brought against YYC PRIITNG for actions of the customer’s employees which may occur as a result of any mailing.
We charge for the service call (Repair, Changes etc.). We do this when we need to make an additional trip to a property for you. After installation done sign post in Real Estate Associate Care and Real Estate Associate is responsible for Lost/ Stolen and Damage Sign. Please provide us correct information otherwise all charges apply to your account ( Wrong Address, No space on property to install sign post etc. If Special Instruction and correct address are not provided, re-installation fees will be applied.It is your responsibility to check with condo associations to find out where signs are allowed. In a lot of cases signs are not allowed at all. If you request a sign up and signs are not allowed there will be a service charge billed.
We install and remove signs Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm . Order Received After 1 pm Thursday installation and removal is done by Monday. Installation done with in 24 hours (During business hours) if you place order as our cut off time with in City of Calgary Limit. ( In the event of poor weather conditions,extreme traffic delays, or statutory holidays there may be a delay in the service)
Sign removed Monday to Friday depending on schedule after your request we do not go strait to your address unless you place rush order thru online portal . When you place a removal request please let your customer know don’t leave the sign inside the fence or garage if we do not find a sign on property trip charges apply to your account depending on the City plus pick up fee to pick up again. Minimum $35 charges in the City of Calgary Limit. If you remove the sign your self and not return to our warehouse $40.00 storage fee charge to your account per month until we do not received the post back. If invoice is still unpaid over 30 days after we transfer your invoice to Collection agency.
Peg (Ground Spike) Lost charges $35.00 will be apply. In the event your account becomes overdue yyc printing reserves the right to remove all signs on properties immediately and there will be no compensation for installations you have paid for. If signs need to be installed again full installation rates will apply again. The Sign Posts and pegs are Property of YYC Printing and you are renting our product. You are liable for the post and peg during the rental period and in the event the sign post gets broken, stolen, or vandalized there is a charges will apply. If a property is sold and you go online and post date the removal. Winter time when we remove the sign post some cases we can not remove the peg from ground reason is ground goes freeze when ground unfreeze we remove the peg from ground this the realtor responsibility to confirm with customer winter time. lost peg $35.00 charges apply to your account if peg is lost.
If the sign post moved to another location without YYC PRINTING permission additional charges applied to your account. If we found sign post install another location we removed the post without notice and your account will be closed.. Listing longer than 6 months we charge $35 renewal fee. Sign post lost or damage $100 charges to your account. Sign damage repair or changes starts from $20 (depending on the City). If the invoice is not paid we remove all signs without notice and reinstall fee will be applied. Invoice due upon receipt.
All riders installation $15.00 for rider plus service charges Starts from $20 (Depending on the City). If sign rider lost $15 apply to lost rider to your account.
YYC PRINTING is not the responsible for any accidentally damage to property. If the sign installs in Town homes, Retail Plaza, or apartment property or fence int he property over 4 feet please notify us in advance if the locations has any special requirement. If you don’t provide any requirements we charge a reinstall fee starts from $35 (Depending on City)
